Solution to bubbles in water-based solid acrylic resin ink
Release time:2023-04-17
Now let the manufacturer of water-based acrylic resin talk to you about the solution to the bubbles in water-based solid acrylic resin ink:
1. Dust and oil stains adhere to the surface of the substrate.
2. During printing, the ink itself may have bubbles or uneven viscosity.
3. Printing speed is too fast or uneven.
The internal factors that generate bubbles are: due to the high viscosity of water-based solid acrylic resin ink, the surface tension of the ink is high, and the gas oil in the ink is difficult to escape from the ink film and remain in the ink layer. If the viscosity of the ink is low and the surface tension of the ink is small, the bubbles will disappear on their own, so there will be no phenomenon of ink bubbles in printed materials.
Alcohol soluble resin
The following measures can usually be taken to prevent bubbles from forming in the ink layer:
1. Try to use hydrophobic solvents as much as possible.
2. When bubbles are generated in the ink itself, an appropriate amount of defoamer can be added to the ink. If the ink flow is poor, when the screen printing plate is lifted, the ink flow is relatively small, and the screen marks cannot be filled flat, so a smooth and even ink layer cannot be obtained.
To prevent screen marks from appearing after printing, the following methods can be used:
1. Use ink with higher fluidity for printing.
2. Consider using ink with slow drying speed for printing, increasing the flow time of the ink to make it gradually solidify.
3. Try to use single diameter wire mesh with finer wire diameter during plate making.
